The Karachi Literature Festival Getz Pharma Fiction Prize was first instituted in 2016 and will be awarded in 2017. It seeks to promote excellence in fiction written in English and comes with Rs 300,000. The jury comprises eminent Pakistani critics, writers, and scholars. (The Fiction prize for 2014, 2015, and 2016 was titled The KLF - Embassy of France prize, but this will not be administered in the foreseeable future).

Eligibility Criteria
• original works written in English (translations are not eligible)
• written by Pakistani / Pakistani-origin authors
• published in 2015 or 2016 by any publisher worldwide including self-published books
• anthologies and multi-author edited volumes are not eligible

Submission Guidelines
Critics and readers are welcome to suggest books to the KLF Secretariat. Publishers or authors should submit four copies of each book by 8 November 2016 to:
